What we do

'Running for Cover ' are primarily a covers duo formed in January 2007  here in the North East of Scotland, playing a wide variety of music from the sixties onwards, from the more gentle 'Always on my Mind' by Elvis Presley, to more upbeat material like Freddie Mercury's 'Living on my Own' and on to some more rock orientated songs from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, The Who, Brian Adams and others.

The duo use a multi-keyboard format, playing live without the use of backing tracks (or a safety net!), giving a very 'full' sound more reminiscent of a full band than a duo. Keyboards are played by Steve, a veteran of some 25 years on the road in various bands and outfits touring throughout the UK, whilst the vocal side of things are in the very capable hands of Davy, a former Karaoke singer of great talent and experience who can sing anything from gentle ballads to raunchy rock .... an ability that gives the duo such a wide and varied catalogue.
